Overview

Permanent, part time position, 7 hours per week

To select and process stock in order to achieve daily processing targets and to carry out shop floor duties

To perform additional responsibilities as and when required in the absence of the Shop Manager/Assistant Shop Manager, to maximise shop sales and profits.

To be an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, supporting and endorsing the cultural aims of the organisation.

You`ll be busy dealing with customers, sorting through donations, supporting volunteers and handling cash on the till. Although this branch is already very successful, we want to maximise sales so your help will be crucial. In return, you`ll get the satisfaction of seeing our profits grow along with your talents.

For the best performing shops, we need the best performing people: those with commercial acumen, great interpersonal skills and an understanding of high street retail fashion. As such, you`ll be organised, flexible and comfortable with sales targets- the sort who can work with minimal supervision and make good customer service look effortless. You`ll need to be literate and good with figures too. After all, this is a business where a professional approach counts. That means working under pressure, managing your time, and above all, working comfortably with a diverse group of people.
