Action for Children makes a real difference to the lives of over 178,000 vulnerable children, young people and their families. Our Residential and Short Breaks Disability Projects in Flintshire and Denbighshire provide quality residential care to young people, placing great importance on listening to what they want, whilst recognising the need to set appropriate boundaries.

With recent experience of working with challenging behaviour, preferably within a residential setting, you will have the ability to communicate effectively with young people and their families. Working towards, or having achieved, an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People, you will have a good knowledge of child and adolescent development. You will be required to work flexibly during the day, evenings and weekends and to undertake sleep in duties. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable at Denbighshire and Flintshire.
