This is a great opportunity to work with a leading animal welfare charity in Surrey, as Major Donor Manager. You will be responsible for implementing a proactive major donor programme to increase engagement with, and income from high net worth individuals.

Key responsibilities:

To develop and implement personalised cultivation plans for all major supporters

Implement systems for mapping contacts and effectively direct desk-based research

Work with colleagues to plan a series of events as part an an overall cultivation strategy

Actively contribute to fundraising planning and development work, in order to grow income from major donors substantially over the coming years

You will have:

Significant experience of major donor fundraising, ideally at a management level

Good understanding of legal, financial and ethical issues related to major and planned gifts

Knowledge of funder prospect research

Confidence and ability to relate appropriately to high level contacts in order to build positive relationships

Good analytical and strategic skills
