In supporting the Volunteering & Community Action team, you will be involved in everything from routine admin support through to the development of guidance and materials on working effectively with volunteers and coordinating the volunteer awards scheme.

Working with a diverse range of people and utilising a teamwork approach, you will apply your communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to actively promote volunteering as well as supporting and developing volunteers. In addition, you will manage volunteers working within our own team, coordinate, edit and develop the volunteering content on our intranet, coordinate projects that help deliver team objectives and generally support the development and implementation of the Volunteering Strategy.

To succeed in this varied and interesting role will take solid administration/office IT skills, previous experience of working on projects and with volunteers, and the organisational ability to manage multiple priorities to deadlines.
