Our high profile public sector client are looking for a Head of Press to join them for a period of 9-12 months.

In this role you will be responsible for raising the profile of this organisation in UK media. You will clearly present the organisations values and role and use both traditional and online social media to achieve engagement with both UK and international audiences. You will deal with any crisis situations and handle any negative media. You will also be responsible for deputising for the Communications Director and providing advice to the Chief Executive.

The successful candidate for this role will have a background within media relations in the public sector. To have worked at head/director level (or equivalent) will be a considerable advantage and if you have previously worked on a national as well as international level that would be great.
