A key figure within the team, you’ll build invaluable bridges between our service and the local community. This will include:

· Promoting social inclusion through the provision of social, recreational and educational activities
· Facilitating groups/activities, enabling service users to realise their personal aspirations and goals
· Assisting allocated clients in formulating and pursuing their personal development programmes
· Reviewing the programmes and forging a network of links with community groups, in line with the individual’s developmental needs
· Supporting our staff, identifying training needs and developing skills
· Deputising for the Manager and Deputy Manager during their absence

About you:

· Experience of working with adults with mental health problems, ideally within a community setting
· Practical experience of planning/running group activities
· Good verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to network and liaise with external groups.
· Team leadership/supervision skills
· Ability to work flexible hours
