UK Anti-Doping is the newly formed national anti-doping organisation, responsible for the management and implementation of the UK’s national anti-doping policy. Responsible for ensuring sports bodies comply with the code, UK Anti-Doping works with a variety of stakeholders to protect the rights of athletes to compete in doping free sport.

In this role you will be working in close conjunction with the Senior Accountant, will provide finance and general administration support to UKAD. The financial work of the Assistant will be supervised by the Senior Accountant. The postholder will also provide administration support to the other members of the team. The successful applicant will have the following experience and skills:

· Studying AAT or similar would be an advantage
· Proficient in the use of spreadsheets
· Experience with Accounting systems, such as the processing of purchase and sales ledger invoices
· Accounts Payable - responsible for inputting all purchase ledger invoices into the financial system
· Accounts Receivable - responsible for raising and issuing sales ledger invoices and responsible for recording all receipts (both BACS and cheques) into the financial system on a timely basis
· The maintenance and processing of all travel and subsistence claims
· Petty cash management and maintenance of UKAD’s petty cash
· General administration support
· A keen eye for detail, organised and methodical in approach
· Good communication skills and able to clearly convey information to internal and external customers
· Able to prioritise conflicting tasks and demands of the role
· Must be able to work effectively in a team
