We are looking for an experienced Manager to head up a floating support contract for people with mental health issues in South London. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivating and dynamic individual to work for a leading provider of support and care to vulnerable people with mental health issues, so if you are immediately available and have proven experience in this area, apply now!

Key aspects of this position will involve:
• Management of a mental health service which provides 300 hours of support a week to vulnerable people across the community
• Line management of 8 front-line staff in the community - staff will be in the field for around 90% of the time, so you MUST be able to effectively manage a dispersed team
• Leading on the self-assessment of the service in preparation for an upcoming core validation visit

Successful applicants to this position will possess the following skills and attributes:
• Experience of managing a large floating support service
• Excellent knowledge and proven experience of dealing with mental health issues and the main challenges faced by people with mental health needs
• Strong knowledge of Supporting People and the QAF
• Ability to manage quality control issues
