Our client a housing and support charity is looking to appoint a Supported Living House Manager based in South London. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career with a well respected organisation.
This key and challenging role requires the post holder to ensure the service delivered at his/her place/s of work is in accordance with the organisational vision and values.
You will be accountable for service delivery which is person centred, high quality and one which consistently seeks to improve.
It is essential that the post holder is committed to demonstrating excellent leadership skills on a day to day basis and initiating a flexible and responsive service to the needs of the service users.
It is also expected that he/she takes responsibility for ensuring both personal and staff team performance not only reflects the essential competency areas but leads to a service which supports people to lead independent lives.
You will have:
- NVQ level 4 plus RMA
- A minimum of 12 months staff management experience
- Experience of managing services where potential customers have either complex / challenging needs
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, e.g. Care Standards Act 2000, Supporting People and associated standards
- Experience of developing person centred plans and person centred services
