You will be responsible for understanding and applying supporter insights to inform strategy development, to improve supporter experience for priority segments and deliver long-term value to Cancer Research UK.

If you are an experienced marketing manager with proven strategic and planning experience then this could be a fantastic opportunity for the right person. We’re looking for a strategic and confident leader with a strong consumer marketing background and a proven track record in generating quantifiable business successes. As a Segmentation Planning Manager you will act as a key member of the Core Segmentation Team and provide support and input into supporter strategy development, applying the segmentation insights to inform future focus and improve supporter experience. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, influencing supporter strategy, gaining buy-in, budget and resource for test programmes. In addition you will lead the project, collaborating with Brand & PR and consumer insight to develop segment guidelines in terms of tone, creative and messaging appropriate to meet supporter segment needs and provide guidance and support to Campaign Managers as appropriate.

About you
Along with proven strong consumer marketing experience and experience in development and delivery of CRM programmes or supporter marketing strategy the successful candidate will have know how to develop, deliver and measure marketing campaigns and content and have engagement/retention communications programmes to appropriate and varied target audiences. In addition you will have knowledge of how to develop measures and methods for monitoring and evaluating performance against objectives and of the legal, regulatory and ethical requirements affecting the marketing of products and services.
