Addaction is the UK’s largest specialist drug and alcohol treatment charity. We work with 26,000 people every year, helping them and their families deal with the effects of drug and alcohol misuse.
Based in Farringdon, London, we are seeking an intern to work within the Fundraising and Marketing Team for 3 months (this may be extended). The role is full-time (Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 5.30pm), but hours can be flexible and we will consider part-time applications.
You will be part of a team of 7, helping to support our efforts to raise over £2m a year from a range of sources, including trusts, corporates, individuals and from events.
Key responsibilities will include:
- research into small trusts and corporates that may support our work
- developing applications for funding
- supporting our events management
- updating our database
You will be enthusiastic, professional and confident with excellent communication and research skills. Competence using Microsoft Office and the Internet, and undertaking telephone research is also important.
