Due to the success of a home office pilot delivering brief intervention to those arrested for alcohol related crimes, Addaction are looking to appoint two part time workers to their already established team.

You will be highly motivated and preferably have experience of working with individuals with alcohol and drug misuse issues.

We are looking to appoint confident, professional, highly organised individuals to work within the Custody Areas of Police Stations within Cleveland. There are 2 posts – The 1st post is working every Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7am – 3pm. The 2nd post is working every Saturday & Sunday 7am – 3pm.

You’ll provide vital support to people whose substance misuse issues have involved the Criminal Justice System. You will deliver a brief intervention for those people whose arrest may be alcohol related.

You must be an excellent team player, who can also demonstrate written and oral communication skills to a very high standard. Experience within social care or the criminal justice environment is desirable.
